An amazing little surprise marks the beginning of today's Anupama episode. Prerna is shocked while tasting a homemade chocolate—only to find out it's made by Anupama! She feels excited and curious to ask Anupama why she deleted her YouTube channel. But Anupama dismisses the question and promised to talk about it later. Their moment is cut almost immediately by a call from Rajini, which dampened the spirit of the team.
Rajini praises the bond between Anupama and Rahi and wishes her bond with her daughter were as strong. Rahi, however, has her reservations regarding this sudden warmth of Rajini. She goes on to advise Anupama to proceed with caution, but the ever-hopeful Anupama reassures Rajini that she will help her reunite with her daughter. Rajini is very much encouraged, while doubt continues to cloud Rahi's mind.
Khyati chance-encounters some vital business documents and presses Parag to discuss them with Vasundhara before taking any big decisions. Parag, however, is unfazed. He claims that the household diamond market supports only bold moves and asks Khyati to trust him, which she does—except in the case of Rajini, who she warns Parag to stay alert against.
Anupama sets out toward her hotel, but says there's something paramount that she needs to discuss with Anupama. Rahi and Prem enter before they can have a chat, and Rahi uses no time in warning Anupama again about Rajini. Anupama, extremely tired, sets Rahi's topic aside for now.
Sensing that Rahi did not trust her, Rajini told Varun she will remain cautious until she had secured Anupama's signature. Because trust is so easy to break.
The episode goes on to get quite warm when Anupama intervened to do some of the wedding rituals for Bharti. The family was left behind; Preet called Anupama special; Sarita exclaimed that Bharti had brought them all together; and Rita compared her to a goddess. Yet, Rahi being her cautious self, took Anupama aside to warn her again about Rajini. Anupama, though, chose to trust her instincts. She invited Rahi to trust her, and Rahi reluctantly agreed, but doubt was still lingering.
At the Shah's, Prem and Hasmukh continue to tease Varun regarding wedding jitters, and Hasmukh's advice about relationships post-marriage helps Varun relax, with some rare laughter in between.
Ishani finds herself stuck in a dilemma. Pakhi is reminding her of a photoshoot on Bharti's wedding day and advises her to concentrate on work instead of missing Varun. But once Pakhi suggests using Anupama and discarding her, Hasmukh overhears and scolds her. Pakhi, however, pays no heed to him, telling Ishani to disregard him.
The episode ends with Anupama and Rahi shopping, where fans parachute on Anupama for a picture. But the joy was short-lived, as Rahi and Prerna got into a frenzy regarding a shirt. While trying to maintain peace, Anupama told Rahi to let Prena keep the shirt. Prerna smirked that she takes what is hers, leaving Rahi stunned.
The precap shows more drama playing out: Anupama helps a wedding-bound Bharti with her preparations, meanwhile, trouble is brewing afar. Pakhi sends Ishani to her shoot only for the police to storm the place. Anxious, Ishani pleads for assistance—but Pakhi refuses to answer. Anupama, with her instinct screaming danger, prays for Ishani's protection.
